Beyond Possibilities: The 1st Opportunity to Impact New Members’ Orientation

2017 focuses on membership build-up well before their year starts.


CEBU CITY (November 3, 2016) – Fresh from their recently concluded Strategic Planning with JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel’s Charter President Cerwin T. Eviota, the 2017 administration quickly deciding to hit the ground running. One of their primary focus at the start of their term is augmenting membership numbers as the local organization is due to conduct its first Opportunity to Impact New Members’ Orientation this coming Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the East Capitol Pensionne starting at 5:30PM.

The JCI: Opportunity to Impact orientation highlights the main concepts that describe JCI as an organization. The presentation uses videos, achievements of JCI’s history and plans for JCI’s future to present the organization as an opportunity to create sustainable impact in local communities around the world. This presentation was designed to serve both as a new member orientation, informational presentation to potential members, as well as a way to introduce JCI to communities where we do not yet exist.

Serving as speakers for the said OTI activity are the husband and wife Past Presidents and Past Central Visayas Regional Vice Presidents tandem of Angelo Daniel and Emi Rose Parcon.

With 2017 President Patrick Henry “H” Perez II at the helm, the 2017 Board of Directors members are aiming at bringing at least two potential members this Saturday. This will include those who have expressed their intent to join the JCI organization through this website or through JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel’s Facebook page.

JCI is a nonprofit organization of young active citizens age 18 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities. Active citizens are individuals invested in the future of our world. JCI gathers active citizens from all sectors of society.
