2009 President Emi Parcon awarded Outstanding President for Asia Pacific

Given during the 2010 Junior Chamber International Asia Pacific Conference held in Singapore last June 2-6, 2010


SINGAPORE (June 6, 2010) – Continuing the success that was started during the 29th Visayas Area Conference and the 61st JCI Philippines National Convention in Palawan which saw her being awarded as Most Oustanding Local President, 2009 President Emi Rose Parcon was awarded as the 2010 Most Outstanding Local President for Asia Pacific during the awarding ceremonies of the 2010 JCI Asia Pacific Conference held in Singapore.

In doing so, Emi garnered the best score for general management, leadership, member’s participation, project achievements, and value to members and bested entries from countries around the JCI Asia Pacific region such as:

*  Best New Local Organization – JCI Global CT
*  APDC Training Program (Leadership Development) – JCI Cebu, Inc.

*  Public Speaking Competition Champion – JCI Mem. Cecile Reyes(JCI Makati Princess Urduja)
*  First Timer’s Award – JCI Mem. Christy Marie C. Woo (JCI Regatta)

Incidentally, the award was conveyed to IPP Emi a day after her birthday, which falls on June 5.
